Cliffwood Beach Historical Walk

Did you know about the beach resort, giant ferris wheel, and largest salt water pool every built at the time? How about the pirates that sailed down along the shores of Raritan Bay from the Atlantic Ocean burying treasure in carefully hidden alcoves along the way?
The Matawan Historical Society is getting ready to present a tour sponsored by the Aberdeen Recreation Department – The History of Cliffwood Beach and the Legends of Treasure Lake on Sunday, November 14th at 1:00pm and 3:00 pm.
The tour is free but registration is requested at the link below. Refreshments will follow at the Cliffwood Beach Community Center.
